Characterization
The major character of the book was Eliezer. He is a round character because you get to know him through the context of the story because it is a autobiography. He has dynamic views on religion and believes in god and doesn't believe in him a certain points of the book. At the end of the book, his faith becomes stronger. He is a strong characater that survives living in the internment camps and overcomes living in the terrrible living conditions.

Elie's father is another main character of the story. He is also a round and a static character. He is described by direct charaction because at the begining of the book he is described as a tall, and older man. He is a static character because he never changes any of his views throughout the book. His health got worse in the internment camps and helped Elie get through it. He was a good father but died at the end due to sickenss.

The Nazi's were the antogonist in this story because they wanted to hurt all of the Jews. They were described through direct characterization on how they looked and acted. All of the Nazi's were static characters because they never changed their views of the Jews. They controlled the Jews lives and gave them punishments and killed thousands of them.
