Clarifications
Section 1. Moshe the Beadle teaches Elie about Judasiam. His dad is one of the main people in charge of the Jewish community. The Jews will not leave because they do not think that the Germans will take over.

Section 2. The Jews will not fight against the Nazi's because they do not think that they will not be harmed.
Section 3. Elie and his dad have to lie about their age so they can stay alive.

Section 5. Elie wants to get out of the hospital before they leave so he does not have to go to the crematory.
Section 6. They all pile up on top of on eachother because the building is small and they do not want to stay in the snow so they do not get hypothermia.
Section 7. The carts are too small for all the Jews and they suffocate each other because they are all piled up in the train car.
Section 8. They can not get into the showers because there are too many people and then the Jews are ordered back to their barracks.
